Soheila S. Azizi
Soheila Azizi is head counsel for the Law Offices of Soheila Azizi and Associates, P.C.
Ms. Azizi is a dispute resolution expert with more than 18 years’ worth of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. She is well-versed in a variety of dispute resolution methods, including mediation and arbitration. Ms. Azizi has served as a mediator for the San Bernardino and Riverside civil and family courts, and she has personally mediated more than 1,000 family law cases.
She has participated in mediation seminars and collaborative divorce training programs, including the Professional Skills Program at Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution; the 32-Hour Advanced Family Law Mediation Training in Riverside Superior Court; and Inland Valleys Justice Center 40-Hour Mediation Trainer.
Ms. Azizi is a recognized legal expert in the Inland Empire and has been featured on a number of television and radio programs to address legal matters, alternative dispute resolution, and social justice issues. Ms. Azizi is also actively involved in the San Bernardino community; she is the founder and one of the directors of the Women on the Move Network, which works to advance women’s issues and promote equality of the sexes through community service, youth and young adult programs, women’s workshops, and special events.
Ms. Azizi attended Hofstra University and the University of La Verne School of Law here in California. She has served as a panel speaker and co-sponsor for the University of La Verne Alternative Dispute Resolution Symposium, as well as a guest lecturer for the Loma Linda University Graduate School of Psychology. Ms. Azizi is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the San Bernardino Bar Association, the California State Bar, the Iranian American Lawyers Association, and she serves as a panelist for Inland Valley Arbitration and Mediation Services. She has also served as a judge pro tem for the San Bernardino County Superior Court and San Bernardino Small Claims Court.
As an immigrant with a rich cultural heritage, Ms. Azizi has a unique connection to diversity and cultural awareness. She has vast experience in a variety of communication techniques, which allow her to resolve cross-cultural disputes and address sensitive issues.
